I like the last one from Barnet. It has the connection for the crank housing. I'm disabled and looking at a crossbow. At minimum I really need the crank. I don't have the power to pull back too much weight at all as I have nerve issues. I do have the ability to hold a rifle from my wheelchair. Thank you for your review of this. Now to do some more homework about it.

Barnett Crossbows are the worst. I had a minor issue and could never get an answer from Barnett on the warranty. I will post badly on any video I see in the hopes of making sure no one else gets screwed over by them. You can get a way better crossbow for just a little more from Ten Point. Checkout the new Venom X, its way better then the P.O.S. Barnett whitetail 410.

Got home from Church Sunday and my Centerpoint Wrath crossbow 430 was there at my side door. Met a friend early Monday and we put it together using locktight on critical point threads. I like the lighted scope and silent crank (unloader too) Shot 20 yards 3 inch bullseye low left one inch inside the bullseye. Shot forty Yards and a half inch more left and same amount low. Adjusted scope up and right. Shot 20 yards and the arrow centered the bullseye. Shot fifty yards with the same result. I am very well satisfied. I have a slight rotator cuff tear for nearly a year and had started shooting a 32 lb recurve. Shoulder began to have pain. So that is why the crossbow came. It was on sale at Scheels. I have three hunts coming u[p and I am a happy camper that will celebrate 90 year old come January 3 rd

Barnett xp 370 with a better scope and bolts you better not shoot at the same spot when target practicing or you will ruin bolts it very accurate and the trigger tech trigger is better than most rifle triggers

All I'm hearing is what the box is the bows come in. No one ever talks about the trigger pull. I shoot a killer instinct boss 405. I've killed several deer with it. But the trigger pull is so long and a little stiff. And I paid 279 for it at Dicks.

I got into crossbow hunting 20 yrs ago started with a big old crossbow barnett, then fate would have it i broke the draw string and while at the local sportman shop looking for the correct string i decides to buy the barnett xp370,now im looking at upgrading again to a barnett hypertac 410-420 somewhere in that area i like the pistol grip drop down option but would like to test 1 out before committing to buying it..just for the simple fact i dont know how it would be to cock and load withthe new sled pull stlystem and not to sure about the crank systems yet…

I bought the CenterPoint 425 because Walmart had it on clearance for $182.00 and it came with the crank cocking device . At 200 pound
draw without the crank I couldn't cock it . For what it cost me I'm very happy with it . Free advice , don't buy a cheap target , first shot you'll
    know why .

I do target practice with the Jaguar CR-013 I got used and can confirm it’s decently powerful and accurate. It is a bit noisy when shooting and I did have to buy a cocking rope but for a low ball price it’s a great first crossbow. I may pick up a Barnett Whitetail Hunter, Barnett Patriot, or if budget isn’t a problem for moment the Excalibur Twinstrike.
