Thats more an bolt-action crossy, you still need to pu the arrow and the spring in the place to shot, semiauto loads from the trigger-shot, like guns than use gas to reload in to the pin, and a normal crossy would be an single-action, the fullauto would be the van helsing crossy.

Okay so what if we put a small piston with a diesel injector when you first cock it it squirts couple drops of diesel into the chamber and also caulking back the spring-loaded piston when string releases Arrow also triggers piston bang compression fire caulking bow string and piston back and firing another boat

I want to say bolt action but this is more of a lawn-mower string action, regardless really cool glad I found this. you could add an electronic component to pull that string automatically turning it semi-auto

Very cool although technically not semi-auto because semi-auto would imply being able to to shoot multiple shots without having to cock the crossbow in between each shot so that's why it's a repeater but not semi-auto. I hope that's helpful and I'm very madly in love with this crossbow
