Man arrested for alleged crossbow theft at Walmart – Minden Press-Herald

A Dubberly man was arrested on November 13 after he was reportedly caught stealing merchandise from the Walmart on Homer Road.
According to the Minden Police Department, officers were dispatched to the store after loss prevention detained a man suspected of shoplifting.
The loss prevention specialist told police the suspect, identified as Daniel Collins, 39, had taken a T-shirt valued at $7.74 and a Bear X Desir crossbow valued at $69.96.
Collins was advised of his rights, taken into custody and transported to the Minden Police Department for booking.
He was charged with misdemeanor theft. Bond was set at $500.
All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
